This course introduces young learners to important parts of Canadian history, focusing on Indigenous Peoples and the legacy of residential schools. It’s designed to help children understand the experiences of Indigenous communities in a way that is thoughtful, respectful, and age-appropriate.
Through two modules, learners will gain a deeper awareness of Canada’s Indigenous cultures, the history and impact of residential schools, and how those experiences still affect people today.
